Dane C Pohlman, D.O.

Dane C. Pohlman, DO, is an interventional pain management specialist at Pohlman Pain Associates in Coral Springs and Delray Beach, Florida. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Management.

Dr. Pohlman earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri and did a transitional year internship at St. Luke Des Peres Hospital. He then completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, before completing an ACGME-accredited pain fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York City.

At Pohlman Pain Associates, Dr. Pohlman takes a comprehensive approach to pain management, staying true to the founding philosophy of physiatry – that of restoring and maximizing both function and quality of life. His training has prepared him to accomplish this by making use of innovative interventional techniques for spine care, peripheral joint disease, and chronic pain.

Brandon Schwartz, MD

As a South Florida native, Dr. Brandon Schwartz MD earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. He completed his medical school training at Florida International University in Miami. His post-graduate training included a residency in Anesthesiology at the prestigious New York University and an ACGME accredited pain management fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Schwartz has presented at many national conferences including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He has played an integral role in advancing the manner in which inpatient pain is practiced at NYU through a novel pain dashboard study.

His personal interests include weightlifting, pickle ball and deep-sea fishing. Dr. Schwartz is also an avid scuba diver having traveled all over the world navigating some of the most challenging sites.

Dr. Schwartz is well-versed in the most up-to-date minimally invasive interventional techniques to alleviate pain with the ul0mate goal of restoring func0on and maximizing quality of life. In addition to providing comprehensive spine care, Dr. Schwartz has a personal interest/focus on headache pain, spinal cord stimulation, and regenerative medicine.

Megan McGuire, MD

Dr. Megan McGuire received her Bachelors degree in Biochemistry at Florida Atlantic University Honors College in Jupiter, FL. She obtained her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency in Miami, FL where she served as chief resident. She furthered her training with a fellowship in Interventional Sports and Spine at the prestigious Cantor Spine Center at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During her fellowship she was trained in the newest, innovative minimally invasive spine procedures that relieve pain with minimal downtime compared to traditional back surgeries.

She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and serves on committees for the North American Neuromodulation Society. She has presented research at numerous conferences and is an active member of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience and Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

She has experience in weight loss management and incorporates her passion for nutrition and fitness into her algorithm for pain management. Her personal interests include weight lifting, yoga, running, surfing, hiking, and cooking.
