What is pain management and how can it help me?

Pain management is a specialized area of healthcare focused on diagnosing, treating, and reducing pain to improve your quality of life. Our providers use a combination of treatments—such as medications, physical therapy, minimally invasive procedures, and lifestyle guidance—to address both the symptoms and the underlying causes of your pain. The goal is not just to relieve pain, but to help you move more comfortably, regain function, and get back to your daily activities.

What types of pain do you treat?

We treat a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions, including back and neck pain; joint pain in the shoulders, knees, and hips; arthritis-related pain; nerve pain such as sciatica or neuropathy; headaches and migraines; pain from injuries or accidents; post-surgical pain; and chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia or complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). If you are unsure whether we treat your specific condition, contact the office to discuss an evaluation.

What type of procedures does Pohlman Pain Associates offer?

We provide a variety of pain management treatments, including epidural, joint, and nerve block injections; radiofrequency ablation; spinal cord stimulators; facet injections; kyphoplasty; and PRP therapy. The appropriate treatment depends on an individual evaluation.

This includes sending your medical records and supporting documentation to demonstrate medical necessity. Please allow up to 14 business days for a decision. Coverage and approval depend on your plan; authorization is not a guarantee of payment.
